The top ten earn medals as all-conference. In the girls meet, Haley Christoffersen was close to earning conference honors, running near the top ten pack before fading to 18th place late in the race. The girls team finished in sixth place at conference.

On Oct. 6, the boys team finished second in a big meet at Sauk Centre, finishing one point ahead of Benson/KMS to earn second place medals. On Oct. 10, a partial team competed at a meet in Alexandria.

Coach Bruce Fuhrman said both teams are shaping up to be in a position to be in the top five at the section meet on Thursday, Oct. 29, at Long Prairie, with the boys hoping to make a run at the top two ranked teams in Section 6A. The teams have one more regular season meet before that, at Proctor on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
