Notice is hereby given that on Thursday October 22, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. the Todd County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing in the Commissioner’s board room, 215 1st Ave. South, Long Prairie, Minnesota to consider the following Variance applications:

Variance request to reduce the structural setback to the road rightof way from 20ft to 10.5ft for the construction of a garage.

 Mike Bongarrt s : Part of Gov’t. Lot 2, 75ft along shoreline of Maple Lake located in Section 18 of Little Sauk Township. 0.46 ACRES Address 17794 Edgewater Ln. PIN: 17-0019600

Variance request to reduce the structural setback to the OHWL of Maple Lake from 100ft to 70ft for a dwelling addition to a legal nonconforming structure.

Variance request to allow for the installation of a septic system designed as a holding tank rather than the required septic tank and drainfield to service an existing shop.

Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 116, that John Eischeid, Tri-County Cattle Co. has made an application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency via the County of Todd for a permit to construct manure handling components on a feedlot with 500 or more animal units.

The existing feedlot is located at the SW/NE qtr., Section 11, Villard Twp., Todd County, MN consisting of 999 head of feeder cattle at max capacity equating to 699.3 animal units housed in open lots and partial confinement buildings with scrape and haul manure handling. The proposed engineer designed manure handling components consist of runoff controls draining to a lined holding pond from existing open lots and partial confinement barns. Cattle mounds and clean water diversions are also proposed. Additionally, a settling basin in conjunction with Tri-County Livestock Auction Barn is designed for construction. Animal numbers and units will remain at a total capacity of 999 head of feeder cattle/ 699.3 animal units.

This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot construction as required by Minnesota State Law.



Central Lakes College is soliciting bids for a 21-25 metric ton used Hydraulic

Excavator, plumbed for auxiliary hydraulics with 2,000- 6,000 hours. Detail specifications may be obtained by contacting John Maleski at 218-270- 0283. Bids will be accepted at the Staples Campus until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Faxed bids will be accepted provided hard copies are received within 48 hours of the bid time.

All bids must be sealed and marked “BID FOR 21-25 metric ton used Hydraulic Excavator”.
