Programs offered at Staples Public Library

STORYTELLER PAM COLLINS – MARCH 14

Storyteller Pam Collins will tell the stories of “The Girl Who Lost Her Heart” and “The House On Mitford Street” to first-graders at the Staples Elementary School on March 14 9:15-10 a.m. and 10:15-11 a.m. Her presentation is sponsored by the Staples Public Library and funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

TODD COUNTRY DIGITAL LITERACY PROGRAM – MARCH 16

If you are an adult just beginning to use a computer, sign up for the Todd County Digital Literacy Program beginning at the Staples Public Library, March 16 10 a.m. to noon. Charlie Crews from the Todd County Digital Literacy Program will present a class on Friday mornings in March and April for six sessions. Preregistration is required and the attendance limit is eight. (Class will not be held April 6.)

CABINS OF MINNESOTA – MARCH 18

Photographer Doug Ohman will give a presentation for teens and adults on Cabins of Minnesota at the historic Staples Depot on Sunday, March 18

3- 4: 30 p. m. The program will highlight the book, “Cabins of Minnesota” by photographer Ohman and writer/ poet Bill Holm.

This presentation is part of the Staples Historical Society’s Cabin Fever event.

It is funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage

Fund.
